Niels Vang is a Belgian interior architect who believes in lifelong learning, staying inspired, and growing through travel, collaboration, and working with renowned design companies worldwide.

“I believe that we should be lifelong learners, staying inspired. That’s why I want to travel, meet people, learn from their insights, and work with or for renowned design companies across the world so I can continuously grow as an interior architect.” – Niels Vang

Niels’ designs are characterized by clean lines, soft tones, and a deep appreciation for natural materials. Stone, marble, wooden floors, black bronze, and limewash walls are among his favorites, reflecting his instinctive attraction to subtle colors and neutral palettes.

In 2022, Niels gained invaluable experience during his internship with Ryan Korban in New York City. He contributed creatively to highly curated luxury projects, including designing elements for a residential apartment in The Pierre Hotel. This experience solidified his appreciation for blending timeless European aesthetics with bold, contemporary design.

His inspirations include Belgian design icons such as Vincent Van Duysen, Dieter Vander Velpen, and Nicolas Schuybroek, alongside French influences from Jean Prouvé, Jean-Michel Frank, and Christian Liaigre.

As Charles Eames once said, “The details are not the details; they make the design,” a philosophy Niels embodies in his work.
